Another thing I noticed recently is that posting to forums with links back to your website is picked up by the search engines like Yahoo and Google. So make sure that you include a signature with each post that has a link to your website. This is an easy way to improve your link popularity, ultimately getting links that point back to your primary website, which in turn provides improved ranking in the search engines.
